Thank you for all your comments about my sister’s wedding and my wedding sampler~ You guys are so sweet~~ I have not been doing too much stitching since I came back. Still in the recovering mode… I did ordered some fabric online before I left town, it was The Pop Garden Collection by Heather Bailey for Free Spirit Fibers!! I couldn’t resist the beautiful greens~~
I’m also searching for a sewing machine. The one I had is pretty basic, and I want to find one that has more built in stitches and quilting abilities. Right now I’m looking at SINGER Stylist 7258 Sewing Machine and Brother CS5055PRW Sewing Machine. I couldn’t decide which one to get, for all you quilters out there, what type of sewing machine do you use?
I was at a gathering the other day, and one of my friend made these most adorable rice balls for the kids~ How cute are these?! And of course, all the kids loved it!!!!
Enjoy your weekend!!!
ooooh, that's pretty fabric!
ReplyDeleteThe wedding sampler you've stitched for your sister's wedding is stunning! Beautiful new stash.
ReplyDeleteLol! Those rice balls are too cute to eat!
It's hard to resist beautiful fabric isn't it?! Just like any other stash item! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Theresa! I have a brother sewing machine, but it is almost 10 years old and not specific for quilting. My MIL gave it to me, she no longer sews. It does the job for me with my basic quilting though. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous fabric and those happy rice balls looks too good to eat :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE those rice balls! I want some!!
ReplyDeleteOh Theresa, these fabrics are gorgeous, just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous fabrics.. I can see why you couldn't resist them.
ReplyDeleteSearching for a good sewing machine can be tricky. Mine is old as the hills so I can't be of much help. But do a lot of research first.. some of the newer models are inexpensive, but don't hold up well.
