Quilted Needle Case

Thank you for helping me with my cording question in the previous post. At the end I went with Nina’s suggestion and twisted both ends for it to look normal, and glued it down. I will show you the final product in a later post since it is a gift for a friend. But I can now reveal what I sent to Deborah for my blogoversary giveaway~ I made a Quilted Needle Case for this occasion!!! It was actually quite simple to make, the most difficult part for me was the binding… It wasn’t perfect, but I’m glad that Deborah liked it!!!

Pattern: Sew She Sews “Quilted Needle Case
Size: 10.5” x 6.5” when open
Completion Date: 09-17-2011

I used a piece of wool felt inside to hold needles, and was happy that I finally got to use those charms I bought a while back on it~~

The pockets on both sides are perfect for scissors and flosses, or any other stitching necessities!!!

The temperature here has dropped significantly these past few days, and what better way to stay warm with a cat sitting on my lap!!! Elijah will be going back home soon…. I will miss him dearly!!

Lovely needle case - thank you for the link to the tutorial. Was it easy to follow? I don't sew other than quilting so this might be a good first sewing project for me.
