We just had a really shaky earthquake here in Southern California!!!! And it was super scary!!!! Now believe me, I came from a earthquake country so I’ve plenty of experience with it. But I haven’t felt this scared before!!! Things are falling off the shelf and water splashing out from the fish tank. I didn’t know if I should run outside of hide under my desk. As I am typing right now, I just felt two more after quakes!!! Thank God that no one was hurt and nothing was damaged. Maybe I really should get that earthquake insurance…… There has been quite a lot of earthquake around here recently, and I couldn’t help but wonder, what will come next?
Best of luck, Theresa! I heard the worst was in Baja and that you all could feel the quakes. Yikes--it would scare me too!
ReplyDeleteWow! I remember having tremors from a quake back in the early 1990s when I lived in City Heights (San Diego) area. I didn't actually feel them, but a friend was staying over and came running into my room asking if I felt the quake! LOL... You must have had a strong magnitude or close to the epicenter to have things shaking that much in La Jolla!
ReplyDeleteStay safe...
BF told me about the earthquake. Glad you are ok! Earthquake insurance isn't a bad thing to consider and it's very reasonable for apartment dwellers. I just signed up for it last year.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are safe and hope you don't suffer with after shocks! Looks very scary on t.v.

ReplyDeleteOh, I would be terrified! I've never been in an earthquake--it must be beyond scary, Theresa! Hope that is the end of them for a long time...
ReplyDeleteWow, I know how you feel. We had an earthquake in the UK a few years ago, it woke me up because the furniture was shaking. That was my one and only experience and I hope the last.
