Is it really Friday already?! This week just seems to fly by so fast. Since my mom was here, I didn’t have too much time to stitch, but I still managed to start a new project. It is Wash Day by Carriage House Samplings~ I first saw it on Barbi’s blog and totally fell in love with it!!! This is where I’m at so far.
I’m also getting ready for my next LHN ornament stitch. I coffee dyed the fabric today but I’m thinking it is still too light to my liking. I will have to re-dye it tomorrow and hopefully it will get darker.
After coming back from the long weekend. I discovered the baby doves have hatched!!! I finally got a shot of them today when mother dove wasn’t sitting on top of them~~
My rose bush also bloomed over the weekend. I’m so happy to see this cause this is my first rose bush~~ I’m so glad I didn’t killed it!! Isn’t it just gorgeous?!
Thanks for visiting!!!

Love your WIP! Looking CUTE!!
ReplyDeleteHi Theresa! Love your work and what a lovely flower! Just something to ponder-- I have found that walnut crystals (you can buy them in a packet online from any doll making supply house) dye fabric for a much more pleasing vintage look than coffee or tea. :-) Have a lovely weekend!
