Decisions, decisions…

I still have a little bit of work to do before wrapping it all up, but I couldn’t resist to take out my fabrics and play with my stash. I have all these ideas in my head to finish my WIPs and I can’t wait to get my hands on them. So what fabrics should I use to pair with my stitched pieces? Or maybe I should get more? ;-)

A Little More Progress…

Thank you for all your comforts in my last post. I am very touched!!!  After a few more little scares, things have finally settled down here. I haven’t have much time to stitch lately, but here is my progress on Mary Wigham Sampler. I’m almost done with the first page……

This is where I left off since last November…IMG_3182

And this is where I’m at right now… Not a whole lot, but nonetheless, it is progress.IMG_6063

My to be finished pile is growing larger and waiting for me to do something with them!! I already have ideas for all of them, but just need a whole day or two to put them all together!!!! I’m still buried in my work, though, so they’ll just have to wait a little bit longer……

I hope you all are having more fun stitching time then I do~

That was Scary!!!!

We just had a really shaky earthquake here in Southern California!!!! And it was super scary!!!! Now believe me, I came from a earthquake country so I’ve plenty of experience with it. But I haven’t felt this scared before!!! Things are falling off the shelf and water splashing out from the fish tank. I didn’t know if I should run outside of hide under my desk. As I am typing right now, I just felt two more after quakes!!! Thank God that no one was hurt and nothing was damaged. Maybe I really should get that earthquake insurance…… There has been quite a lot of earthquake around here recently, and I couldn’t help but wonder, what will come next?

Happy Easter~

Thank you everyone for commenting on my last post and offering help, I knew I could relay on my crafty friends~ And a big round of applause for Kathleen, who found out that the fabrics used on the quilt are from Urban Chiks "1974" by Moda!!! Thank you!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!! I will head over to the fabric store and see if i can find it. This set is from a few years back so I hope they still carries it…

I was hoping that I could finish this before Easter, but of course I’m late again. So here is just a sneak peak of what I am working on right now~
